Billionaire presidential candidate Donald Trump has received an endorsement from the daughter of silver screen legend John Wayne.
In a letter posted by Trump to Facebook Wednesday, actress Aissa Wayne revealed she admired the real estate mogul for giving a voice to the American people and said she stands by him.
“My dad, I am sure, would be very proud of Mr. Trump and the goal to Make America Great Again!” Aissa said. “I want to thank Mr. Trump for the tireless work he is doing for this country.”
“Please know that I am in your corner, and I am certain that my dad would have been a big supporter of Mr. Trump,” Wayne adds. “If there is anything I can do to assist in the campaign, I am humbly at your service.”
Wayne joins other celebrities, such as boxer Mike Tyson, rocker Ted Nugent and most recently actor Clint Eastwood, who have all expressed support Trump.
"I found [the Founding Fathers] and I found libertarianism. They were pretty radical guys, and damn smart..."
Mikael Thalen | Infowars.com - December 23, 2015
Hollywood actor Kurt Russell described himself as a “hardcore libertarian” during an interview this week while promoting his upcoming role in Quentin Tarantino’s “The Hateful Eight.”
Speaking with journalist Marlow Stern, Russell began by breaking down his recent comments on gun control that received widespread media coverage following the San Bernardino terror attack.
“[The interviewer] got into the whole thing about how gun control was somehow going to fix terrorism, and I was like, ‘Dude, I just don’t get that thinking!'” the actor said. “I just didn’t get where he was going saying that gun control was a magic wand of fixing the situation with terrorism. That isn’t going to stop them from what they want to do.”
Delving into his experience as a staunch libertarian actor in liberal Hollywood, Russell explained how unlike many others, his political views have drawn heavily from America’s Founding Fathers.
“I’m not a Bill Maher libertarian. That’s faux-libertarianism… The other thing I’ve found is that a lot of liberals in Hollywood are faux-liberals, and a lot of Republicans in Hollywood are faux-conservatives,” Russell said. “When I was a young guy, I was finding myself not quite being able to see the things that were going on and buy into a political culture. I didn’t know what to do, so I finally said, ‘Why don’t I go back and see what the Founding Fathers were all about, and see how that stacked up.'”“Well, I found them and I found libertarianism,” he added. “They were pretty radical guys, and damn smart, and I just believe in that old-time stuff and think they had great ideas.”Russell says his political stance was finally “cemented” several years later after attending an event for the 20th anniversary of the Cato Institute, a leading American libertarian think tank.“Years later, I had the wonderful opportunity to go to the Cato Institute’s 20th anniversary and spend some real time with some amazing people,” the actor revealed. “I met some great people there, and that cemented it for me. I felt, guess what, there is a place where I can have a conversation and not be laughed at or smirked at.”Despite constant attempts by media outlets to interview the actor specifically on his political beliefs, Russell has thus far refused to do so.“They’re trying to constantly get me to go on these shows and whatnot, and you only end up promoting their shows. And I don’t want to go on those shows and have someone think, ‘The last thing I want to do is watch Kurt Russell talk about shit that I don’t think he knows anything about,'” he said.In closing on the topic, Russell reiterated his belief in pure Americana, not the current political system.“I believe in limited Constitutional government, free market capitalism, reach for the brass ring,” he added. “There’s this place where you can go do that and don’t step on anybody’s toes and still try to reach for the brass ring.”
Social isolation for people who express controversial opinions or dissent
Paul Joseph Watson - December 23, 2015
China’s largest social networks have partnered with the country’s Communist government to create a credit score system that will measure how obedient its citizens are, a chilling prospect that could one day arrive in America if social justice warriors get their way.
Entitled ‘Sesame Credit’, the program, “Aims to create a docile, compliant citizenry who are fiscally and morally responsible by employing a game-like format to create self-imposed, group social control. In other words, China gamified peer pressure to control its citizenry; and, though the scheme hasn’t been fully implemented yet, it’s already working — insidiously well,” reports Zero Hedge.
Sesame Credit is operated by Alibaba and Tencent, two companies that run all the top social networks in China, including Weibo, which has over 200 million users. It works by measuring not only purchase and bill paying history but also “political compliance.”
“Among the things that will hurt a citizen’s score are posting political opinions without prior permission, or posting information that the regime does not like, such as about the Tiananmen Square massacre that the government carried out to hold on to power, or the Shanghai stock market collapse. It will hurt your score not only if you do these things, but if any of your friends do them,” warns the ACLU.
In other words, people will face the threat of not only becoming a target of state surveillance, but also losing their friends if they express political views frowned upon by the state. This social pressure would obviously make individuals far less likely to criticize the government or to counter a dominant social narrative. The credit scores can also be seen by anyone, adding the further burden of potential public shaming for controversial opinions.
The idea is ripped straight from the script of The Prisoner – a cult 1960’s TV show in which the authorities in control of ‘The Village’ attempt to break Number 6 and strip him of his individuality. In one episode, Number 6 is declared “unmutual” and faces ostracization from the rest of the community.
Rick Falkvinge compared this new method of molding the ‘good citizen’ to how the KGB and the Stasi would neutralize dissent.
“The KGB and the Stasi’s method of preventing dissent from taking hold was to plant so-called agents provocateurs in the general population, people who tried to make people agree with dissent, but who actually were arresting them as soon as they agreed with such dissent, he writes. “As a result, nobody would dare agree that the government did anything bad, and this was very effective in preventing any large-scale resistance from taking hold. The Chinese way here is much more subtle, but probably more effective still.”
Johan Lagerkvist also warns that the program will scrutinize what books people read, labeling it akin to “Amazon’s consumer tracking with an Orwellian political twist.”
Sesame Credit is currently opt-in only but is set to become mandatory by 2020.
Could such a system ever take off in America? For years, the Obama White House has been pushing cybersecurity initiatives that would mandate de facto government permission to use the Internet. Since web access would be linked with an individual user’s identify, it could easily be restricted if that individual dares to dissent against the state.
A credit score for expressing politically correct opinions also sounds like a utopian wet dream for social justice warriors, who utilize the power of mob outrage to pester governments and corporations into publicly shaming people who challenge their narratives.
Indeed, prominent feminists are already calling on the United Nations to pressure ISPs and governments to cut off web access for those who dare to disagree with feminists and leftists online.
If the we continue to treat the feelings of perpetually offended outrage mobs with more importance than free speech – particularly controversial and unpopular free speech – there’ll be no need for governments to impose a social credit score to control citizens – we’re already imposing it on ourselves by default.
Witnesses told not to talk about discovery of bombs
Paul Joseph Watson - November 20, 2015
German authorities covered up the fact that explosives were found during an attempted terror attack at a soccer stadium earlier this week, according to an eyewitness who was told to keep quiet about what he saw.
Bild newspaper has published the testimony of a paramedic who saw an explosive device in an ambulance before the Germany vs Netherlands game which was canceled on Tuesday night after French intelligence tipped off German authorities about an impending attack involving three bombs to be detonated at the stadium and another two at a bus stop and a train station.
Authorities later claimed that no explosives were found, but the paramedic says he witnessed the bomb and was “told not to talk about it” after special forces arrived on the scene.
Three police officers have also reportedly been disciplined for leaking information about the alleged discovery of the bombs.
German authorities may have decided to conceal the fact that the explosives were found in order to prevent panic amongst the fans who had gathered around the stadium before the match.
However, given that German police have been caught covering up rapes and other crimes involving migrants flooding into the country via the wave of refugees in order to not legitimize critics of the migrant influx, could the decision to cover-up the discovery of the bombs have been made under a similar justification?
The cell that planned to detonate the explosives reportedly consisted of five people.
After last week’s massacre in Paris, it was confirmed that at least three of the jihadists linked to the plot had exploited the migrant crisis in order to slip into Europe, including the alleged mastermind behind the attacks Abdelhamid Abaaoud.
Abaaoud bragged about being able to travel freely throughout Europe without being intercepted by authorities, telling Dabiq magazine, “My name and picture were all over the news yet I was able to stay in their homeland, plan operations against them and leave safely when doing so became necessary.”
Ahmad Almohammad, the first Stade de France suicide bomber, also used a fake Syrian passport to sneak into Europe via Greece by posing as an asylum seeker.
On November 2, The Daily Beast pointed to recent statements from President Obama and Hillary Clinton regarding the implementation of Australian-style gun confiscation and suggested “civil war could erupt on American soil” if any administration actually tried to confiscate privately owned firearms.
The Daily Beast theoretically agreed that “confiscation on a massive scale” may be “the only way to solve American gun violence,” but they pointed out that it was not realistic and suggested Hillary risks causing irreparable divisions by talking about confiscation then mocking gun owners as conspiracy theorists waiting for “black helicopters” to come take their guns away.
According to The Daily Beast, confiscation was workable in Australia because there was no Second Amendment and the government only had to take 650,000 guns. That is a far cry from the “350 million” believed to be in Americans’ hands.
Yes, “350 million.”
But even more important than the number of guns is the depth of American “devotion” to them. And The Daily Beast observes that it is this devotion–this dedication to the philosophy and tradition underlying the right to keep and bear arms–that turns the mere mention of confiscation into something that could literally rip the country apart. A 17-year-old high school student in Illinois was sent home last week after administrators claimed his hunting sweatshirt violated the school’s dress code policy.
Clinton Boyer, who wore the rifle-clad sweatshirt featuring the phrase “I’ll stop hunting when they pry the gun from my cold dead hands,” was sent to the principal’s office after a teacher took offense to the imagery.
“They told me if I don’t take the sweater off or turn it inside out, I would be sent home,” the junior told Sauk Valley News.
Clinton, who refused to remove the sweatshirt, argued that the school’s dress code handbook included no mention of clothing featuring images of firearms.
“I refused to take it off, because it wasn’t against the rules,” Clinton said. “I could have went home, changed the sweater and came back, but I was so mad, I knew I wasn’t coming back.”Upon inspection of the student handbook, Clinton’s father, Derrick, noted that students were only barred from wearing clothing with violent, lewd, obscene, offensive or vulgar language or symbols.“The rule book does not state anything about a picture of a gun,” Derrick said. Two days after the incident, school administrators confronted Clinton again – this time to admit their fault.“I came to school Wednesday and they told me I could wear the sweater, after all,” Clinton said. “They told me it’s not against the rules and I could wear it.”Derrick states that if the school were to have upheld the punishment he would have undoubtedly involved Second Amendment and hunting advocacy groups in the incident.“I’m a big advocate of Second Amendment rights and hunting rights. I felt they were violating his rights,” the boy’s father said. “I would have contacted the National Rifle Association or the Illinois State Rifle Association.”While noting the need for addressing potential violence, Derrick added that school administrators could have handled the situation better.“He was raised in a house that hunts. It’s a father-son thing we have been doing forever,” Derrick said.“I understand the whole violence at schools and how it needs to be addressed, but this has nothing to do with gun violence. Hunting is a sport, just like any other sport. That’s how it needs to be taken, not that he is bringing a gun to school.”Countless other schools across the nation have targeted students for wearing pro-Second Amendment attire as well, with one 14-year-old student being threatened with a year in jail for refusing to remove his shirt in 2013. A recent poll carried out by France’s Le Figaro newspaper has indicated that at least 72 percent of respondents want Syrian President Bashar Assad to remain in power.
The survey, published on Thursday, asked: “Should world powers demand Bashar Assad to leave?” At least 28 percent from 21,314 respondents have voted “Yes” so far, while the majority – 72 percent – have said “No”.
The poll was conducted ahead of the Vienna talks, where 19 global powers gathered to find a solution for a nationwide ceasefire in Syria. The fate of Assad remained the stumbling block during discussions.
The US and its allies including Saudi Arabia repeatedly said the Syrian president, whose term expires in 2021, must resign. “There is no way President Assad can unite and govern Syria,” US Secretary of State John Kerry said during the meeting, adding, “Syrians deserve a different choice.”
However, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said the Syrian people “should define the future of their country… including Assad’s fate.”
Earlier in October, a member of Moscow’s parliamentary delegation told TASS that Assad had agreed to hold preliminary elections in the country, provided the move has the people’s backing.
Syria has been caught up in a civil war since 2011, when violent protests erupted as part of the so-called Arab spring. During the turmoil, Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIL/ISIS) militants managed to capture large amounts of territory in Syria and Iraq.
On September 30, Moscow launched a military operation targeting IS positions following a formal request from Assad.
Reporters ordered to fall back as leak spills 11 thousand gallons of toxic material
by Lee Ann McAdoo | Infowars.com | October 27, 2015
Infowars reporter Lee Ann McAdoo is on the scene in St. Louis as thousands of gallons of potentially hazardous waste leak from a radioactive landfill.
According to sources on the ground, the radioactive West Lake landfill is currently experiencing a 10 to 11 thousand gallon leachate leak after a break in a force main.
“Leachate is very toxic, it’s from the landfill, it’s created from the burning superfund materials and garbage…” said Dawn Chapman, a local environmental activist.
Reporters were forced to flee the area after the toxic fumes began causing respiratory distress among those around the site.
The landfill has been an area of controversy given its role as an illegal dumping ground for uranium during the Manhattan Project.
As Russian airstrikes push ISIL terrorists from Syria into Iraq, Moscow and Baghdad agreed to hit the militants in Iraq, said Hakem al-Zameli, the head of the Iraqi Parliament’s National Security and Defense Commission, according to Fars News Agency.
ISIL militants aren’t going to find a safe haven from Russian airstrikes in Iraq after the country’s parliament gave Russia the green light to conduct airstrikes against ISIL targets in Iraq.
“Iraq agreed with Russia, which leads the joint data center, to hit the ISIL militants heading from Syria into Iraq,” al-Zameli said, highlighting the fact that the move would also cut off ISIL supply routes from Iraq into Syria, as cited by Fars.
The approval comes amid security coordination between the governments of Russia, Iran, Iraq and Syria — all of which seek to destroy ISIL. The four nations launched the Baghdad Information Center to coordinate their military actions against the terrorists both in Syria and Iraq. On September 30, Russia launched precision airstrikes against ISIL targets in Syria bordering Iraq following a request from Syrian President Bashar Assad. Russian Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov said earlier that Baghdad had not requested similar assistance. The Russian military operation has been widely praised by Iraqi Shiites. For instance, the members of the Shi’ite Badr Organization have claimed they would “strongly welcome” both air attacks conducted by Russians in Iraq and an increasing role of Russia in the entire Middle East region, as the US’ approach to fight with ISIL militants is “not serious.” Immediately following Russia’s airstrike campaign in Syria, Russian and Iraqi officials left open the possibility of expanding Russia’s anti-terrorist airstrikes from Syria into Iraq. Earlier this month, Iraq Prime Minister Haider Abadi said he would welcome Russian airstrikes against ISIL positions in his country if the Russian military succeeded in Syria.
Of course its political, but the Democrats don’t like tasting their own poison.
Notice we don’t hear the Democrats apologizing for the Justice Dept.’s targeting of journalists or the IRS’ targeting of conservative groups and Christian organizations.
Vladimir Putin is basking in Russia’s triumphant return to the world stage.
What began with a land grab in Crimea and escalated with support for the separatists at Donetsk, culminated in Moscow’s dramatic entry into Syria’s protracted civil war.
To be sure, the deplorable (not to mention comically absurd) strategy adopted by the US and its regional allies in Syria set Putin up for success. The situation was highly exploitable by anyone that’s strategically minded and thanks to the convoluted set of alliances Washington has built with groups that later turned out to be extremists, Moscow gets to achieve its regional ambitions while simultaneously fighting terrorism. Meanwhile, Washington, Riyadh, Ankara, and Doha are left to look on helplessly as their Sunni extremist proxy armies are devastated by the Russian air force. The Kremlin knows there’s little chance that the West and its allies will step in to directly support the rebels – the optics around that would quickly turn into a PR nightmare.
All of this has provided the perfect backdrop for Putin to begin what’s amounted to a lecture tour on how to conduct foreign policy. Soundbites have ranged from very serious commentary on why the West should not employ extremists to bring about regime change to comical jabs at the US and its allies who the Russian President last week accused of having “oatmeal brains” when it comes to Mid-East policy. Speaking today at the International Valdai Discussion Club’s 12th annual meeting in Sochi, Putin delivered a sweeping critique of military strategy and foreign policy touching on everything from the erroneous labeling of some extremists as “moderates” to the futility of nuclear war. “Why play with words dividing terrorists into moderate and not moderate. What’s the difference?,” Putin asked, adding that “success in fighting terrorists cannot be reached if using some of them as a battering ram to overthrow disliked regimes [because] it’s just an illusion that they can be dealt with [later], removed from power and somehow negotiated with.” “I’d like to stress once again that [Russia’s operation in Syria] is completely legitimate, and its only aim is to aid in establishing peace,” Putin said of Moscow’s Mid-East strategy. And while he’s probably telling the truth there, it’s only by default. That is, peace in Syria likely means the restoration of Assad (it’s difficult to imagine how else the country can be stabilized in the short-term), and because that aligns with Russia’s interests, The Kremlin is seeking to promote peace – it’s more a tautology than it is a comment on Putin’s desire for goodwill towards men. And then there’s Iran and its nascent nuclear program. Putin accused the US of illegitimately seeking to play nuclear police officer, a point on which he is unquestionably correct: The “hypothetical nuclear threat from Iran is a myth. The US was just trying to destroy the strategical balance, [and] not to just dominate, but be able to dictate its will to everyone – not only geopolitical opponents, but also allies.” Speaking of nukes, Putin also warned that some nuclear powers seem to believe that there’s a way to take the “mutually” out of “mutually assured destruction.” That is, Putin warned against the dangers of thinking it’s possible to “win” a nuclear war. Commenting on US anti-missile shields in Europe and on the idea of MAD, Putin said the following:
“We had the right to expect that work on development of US missile defense system would stop. But nothing like it happened, and it continues. This is a very dangerous scenario, harmful for all, including the United States itself. The deterrent of nuclear weapons has started to lose its value, and some have even got the illusion that a real victory of one of the sides can be achieved in a global conflict, without irreversible consequences for the winner itself – if there is a winner at all.”
In short, Putin is suggesting that the world may have gone crazy. The implication is that the US believes it not only has the capacity to win a war against the nations Washington habitually places on its various lists of “bad guys” (i.e. Russia, Iran, and China), but that Washington believes America can win without incurring consequences that are commensurate with the damage the US inflicts on its enemies. That, Putin believes, is a dangerous miscalculation and one that could end up endangering US citizens. So once again, this is Putin setting the narrative and jumping at every opportunity to portray Russia as a nation that’s not content to “lead from behind” (as so many have recently accused the US of doing). And once again, his assessment seems remarkably sober in a world that does indeed seem to have lost its collective mind. Full speech (translated) below.
74 years of sentences for high level fraudsters; US and rest of Europe bailed theirs out
by Steve Watson | Infowars.com | October 23, 2015
In a story not reported on at all by any Western mainstream media source, Iceland just sentenced another five high level bankers to prison for directly contributing to the collapse of the country’s economy in 2008.
This brings the total to 26 bankers now behind bars in Iceland, with most being CEOs of large financial institutions, rather than low level traders.
Most of those jailed will serve terms of two to five years, according to a report by Iceland Magazine, which notes that three executives at Landsbankinn and two at Kaupþing, along with one prominent investor, have been prosecuted.
Their crimes include market manipulation, embezzlement, and breach of fiduciary duties. Their market manipulation destroyed the country’s economy and to this day Iceland is still having to repay the global loan sharks at the IMF, as well as governments of other countries, which kept the nation operating. The article explains that the prosecutions have been possible because rather than protect and reward the very institutions responsible for the collapse, and the gangsters that run them, the Icelandic government let them fail, and then created a financial supervisory authority to strictly oversee the banks. Iceland’s President, Olafur Ragnar Grimmson noted:
“Why are the banks considered to be the holy churches of the modern economy? Why are private banks not like airlines and telecommunication companies and allowed to go bankrupt if they have been run in an irresponsible way? The theory that you have to bail out banks is a theory that you allow bankers enjoy for their own profit, their success, and then let ordinary people bear their failure through taxes and austerity. ?People in enlightened democracies are not going to accept that in the long run.”
The President added:
“We were wise enough not to follow the traditional prevailing orthodoxies of the Western financial world in the last 30 years. We introduced currency controls, we let the banks fail, we provided support for the poor, and we didn’t introduce austerity measures like you’re seeing in Europe.”
While the country’s economy is far from what it once was, it has stabilized and is in a position to recover. Meanwhile, the governments of the US and Europe bailed out most of those responsible for playing a direct role in the financial crisis that crippled the global economy. In the US, Congress gave American banks a $700 billion TARP bailout at the expense of taxpayers. Not one banker in the US has even been charged with a crime relating to the financial collapse, there is still virtually no regulation of the banks, and they are pulling in a near record $160 billion in annual profits, all from “money” created out of thin air. The banksters continue to be protected, at all levels, and the effects of their criminal actions continue to worsen every day. Another financial catastrophe is a certainty. "Why play with words dividing terrorists into moderate and not moderate. What's the difference?"
by Mikael Thalen | Infowars.com | October 22, 2015
Russian President Vladimir Putin accused the United States of using terrorist groups to overthrow Middle Eastern governments during a speech in Sochi Thursday at the Valdai International Discussion Club.
During the 12th annual meeting, entitled “Societies Between War and Peace: Overcoming the Logic of Conflict in Tomorrow’s World,” Putin spoke to numerous international issues including the ongoing war in Syria and the West’s questionable practices in the fight against Bashar al-Assad.
“Success in fighting terrorists cannot be reached if using some of them as a battering ram to overthrow disliked regimes,” Putin said. “It’s just an illusion that they can be dealt with [later], removed from power and somehow negotiated with.”
Putin also took aim at so-called US-backed “moderate rebels,” who admittedly support and fight alongside terrorist organizations such as ISIL and the al-Nusra Front. “Why play with words dividing terrorists into moderate and not moderate,” the Russian president added. “What’s the difference?” Since entering the battlefield, Russia has been accused by the US of bombing moderate groups and not ISIL. According to Putin, the US has thus far refused to provide intel on what areas should or shouldn’t be targeted. “We are being criticized for allegedly hitting wrong targets. Tell us which targets are correct, if you know. But they keep silence,” Putin stated. “Tell us which targets we must not hit — they also refuse to.” “The international community should realize who we’re dealing with. An enemy, in fact, of civilization, humanity and world culture.” Putin also blamed the Obama administration for the rise of ISIL and the destabilization of the Middle East during last year’s speech at the Valdai as well. The Russian president again made similar comments at the United Nations last month, questionably translated by the New York Times, in which he blamed the United States for creating and arming ISIL. Just last July, Michael T Flynn, the former head of the US Defense Intelligence Agency, admitted during an interview with Al Jazeera that the Obama administration made a “willful decision” to support terrorist organizations in the Middle East after Pentagon documents regarding the policy were uncovered through the Freedom of Information Act. According to the 2012 document, the Obama administration even ignored warnings that arming terrorist groups would lead to the emergence of an “Islamic State.”
Jesse Benton, a longtime advisor to both former congressman Ron Paul and Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), was acquitted Thursday in a federal trial of which Ron Paul said was intended to undermine his son Rand Paul’s current presidential campaign.
Benton, who was the chairman of Ron Paul’s 2012 campaign, had been under indictment since Aug. 5 after prosecutors accused him of supposedly concealing over $70,000 in payments to Iowa State Sen. Kent Sorenson to convince Sorenson to switch his presidential endorsement from Michele Bachmann to Ron Paul.
The court had previously dismissed four of the five counts against Benton on Oct. 9, stating that the prosecution had blatantly violated agreements between Benton and the government, but Benton remained under indictment for a single count of lying to the FBI until his acquittal on Thursday.
“God is great,” Benton told multiple reporters as he left the Southern District of Iowa federal courthouse. “It feels good.”
Another former Ron Paul staffer, Dimitri Kesari, was also under indictment but was found guilty on one count of ‘causing a false record’ and faces a maximum prison sentence of 20 years. The government’s prosecution of the former Ron Paul campaign staffers coincided with Rand Paul’s early rise in the presidential polls this summer, which indicated the prosecution was politically motivated. Even more telling, a government official linked to Lois Lerner’s IRS targeting of conservative groups, Richard Pilger, was the driving force behind the prosecution. And the Justice Dept. could have prosecuted Benton and his fellow staffers as early as Sept. 2014 when the government reached a plea agreement with Sorenson, who was similarly charged, but waited to file the indictments until days before Rand Paul was scheduled to appear in a Republican debate. The charges against the former campaign staffers ultimately had a negative impact on Paul’s polling numbers. “We are pleased to learn that Jesse Benton has been vindicated today of wrongdoing,” Benton’s attorney Roscoe Howard said in a statement. “The jury members worked diligently through the information presented to them and their decision reinforces that he was wrongly charged – and always has been.”
Syrian government and jihadis have fought over neighborhood for more than two years
by Kurt Nimmo | Infowars.com | October 21, 2015
Earlier this week Russian television released an HD video of a devastated Jobar, an eastern suburb of Damascus, where jihadists and the Syrian government are battling.
The video allegedly shot by a drone shows tanks firing amidst a hellish wreckage of buildings.
The Syrian government and jihadis have fought over the neighborhood for more than two years. It is largely abandoned, although it reportedly had 300,000 residents, primarily Sunni Muslim, prior to the war.
Jobar is considered highly strategic because it is near the Abbasid Square roundabout that leads into Damascus. It also provides access to Eastern Ghouta, a region east of the capital captured by the jihadis.
The Russians are providing air cover for the Syrian Army as it conducts an offensive in regions near Damascus.
Authorities want to avoid 'racist' backlash from critics of migrant influx
by Paul Joseph Watson | October 21, 2015
Finnish cops have been ordered by the country’s national police board not to publicly identify migrants as criminal suspects over concerns that doing so would encourage a ‘racist’ backlash against the wave of asylum seekers entering Scandinavia.
The new guidance, reported on by Finnish news outletIltalehti.fl, is designed to prevent “negative” attitudes being attached to asylum seekers, as well as maintaining “law and order and a sense of security” by not radicalizing local populations who are opposed to migrants entering the country.
By keeping the migrant status of the suspect confidential, the police board hopes that crimes committed by asylum seekers will not “stir up anger.”
The order means that press releases or pleas for public help in identifying suspects will not include information identifying the suspect as a migrant, making it easier for would-be criminals and rapists to evade detection.
This is particularly egregious given the alarming number of rapes that haveoccurred in and around migrant camps, as well as Sweden’s cripplingrape epidemic, for which Muslim migrants are largely responsible.
As we have previously highlighted, authorities in Germany are also covering up crimes committed by migrants.
Last month it emergedthat police in Germany are keeping quiet about a spate of rapes targeting children committed by Muslim migrants in and around refugee camps so as not to “legitimize” critics of mass migration.
Germany’s top broadcaster ZDFis also refusingto run crime stories about Muslim rape suspects because, in the words of Editor in chief Ina-Maria Reize-Wildemann, “We don’t want to inflame the situation and spread the bad mood. [The migrants] don’t deserve it.”
The German government is also working with Facebook on a program to censor anti-migrant posts. The initiative isbeing overseenby Anetta Kahane, an ex-informant for the Stasi, the official secret police of the former Communist government of East Germany.
Swiss voters on Sunday sent a message to the European Union that they will not tolerate the mass migration of Muslims from the Middle East.
The Swiss People’s Party (SVP) took the largest percentage of parliamentary seats over the weekend, making it the dominant political party in Switzerland. It won 29.4 percent of the vote.
The central issue during the election was the massive influx or largely illegal immigrants.
“The vote was clear,” said SVP leader Toni Brunner. “The people are worried about mass migration to Europe.”
The SVP election victory comes nearly two years after the Swiss people voted in favor of a referendum limiting the number of foreigners living in the country. Socialists lamented the victory and their losses during the election. The Christian Democrats and the Green Liberals also lost seats in the Parliament. “One theme has unfortunately been very dominant during the campaign,” said Rebecca Ruiz, a candidate for the Socialists. She said the Swiss “people voted out of fear.”
Demonstration Against Mass Immigration
Meanwhile, in the German city of Dresden, a rally Monday is expected to draw 10,000 people. The event marks the first anniversary of the founding of PEGIDA, or Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamization of the Occident. PEGIDA has organized demonstrations against the Islamization of the Western world and backs restrictions on immigration from Muslim countries. The German government has responded to the protest by stepping up security. German intelligence characterizes PEGIDA and its leaders as “hard far-right extremists” and is conducting surveillance of the group. The Federal Minister of the Interior, Karl Ernst Thomas de Maizière, told the media in Germany anti-immigration groups are inciting violence. The bureaucrat’s remarks follow the stabbing of a pro-immigration mayoral candidate in the German city of Cologne on Saturday.
The global elite have never been closer to their goal of a united world.
Thanks to a series of interlocking treaties and international agreements, the governance of this planet is increasingly becoming globalized and centralized, but most people don’t seem alarmed by this at all. In the past 30 days, we have seen some of the biggest steps toward a one world government, a one world economy and a one world religion that we have ever witnessed, but these events have sparked very little public discussion or debate. So please share this article with as many people as you can. We need to wake people up about this before it is too late.
From September 25th to September 27th, the United Nations launched a “new universal agenda” for humanity. Those are not my words, they actually come directly out of the core document for this new agenda. The Pope traveled to New York City to give the address that kicked off this conference, thus giving his considerable endorsement to this new plan. Virtually every nation on the entire planet willingly signed up for the 17 goals that are included in this plan, but this stunning turn of events made very few international headlines.
The United Nations is promising that if we all work together that we can turn our planet into some kind of “utopia”, but the truth is that all of this talk about “unity” masks a very insidious agenda. The following comes from a recent piece by Paul McGuire, the author of a groundbreaking new book entitled “The Babylon Code”…
The UN is not asking permission, but issuing a command that the entire planet will commit to 17 sustainable development goals and 169 sustainable development targets designed to radically transform our world by 2030. The UN 2030 plan promoted by the Pope will advance Agenda 21 on steroids. Through a controlled media the mass populations will be told that this is all about saving the environment and “ending poverty.” But that is not the true agenda of Agenda 21. The true agenda of Agenda 21 is to establish a global government, global economic system, and global religion. When UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon spoke of “a dream of a world of peace and dignity for all” this is no different than when the Communists promised the people a “workers paradise.”
For the general population, “the 2030 Agenda” has been rebranded as “the global goals”. On September 26th, some of the biggest names in the music world (including Beyonce) promoted these new “global goals” at the “Global Citizen Festival” that was held in Central Park. And you can watch a YouTube video where some of the most famous names on the entire planet urge all of us to get behind these new “global goals” right here. None of this is by accident. We are being trained to think of ourselves as “global citizens” that belong to a “global community”. Decades ago, most Americans would have been up in arms over something like this. But now most people just seem to accept these changes passively. Very powerful secret societies and international organizations have been moving us in this direction for a very long time, and most Americans simply have no idea what is happening. Here is more from Paul McGuire…
The United Nations is a de facto global government and does not rule by the “consent of the governed.” The United Nations is a global government to which American politicians of both parties have surrendered our Constitutional rights. If you look at the Republican Presidential debates you see the vast majority of those running are “bought men and women.” They are there to do the bidding of their true masters, the international banking families and their interlocking secret societies. If a candidate has a different set of beliefs than the “Orwellian group think” which constitutes domestic and foreign policy, he is allowed to go only so far. Who are these powerful elite groups and the secret societies that run them? As we extensively document in our new book, The Babylon Code, co-authored by this author and Troy Anderson, a Pulitzer Prize-nominated investigative journalist, there exists a very real network of semi-secretive and secret groups. Groups like The Council on Foreign Relations, The Trilateral Commission, Royal Institute of International Affairs, United Nations, Club of Rome, The Bilderberg Group, and others control presidents, prime ministers, media networks, politicians, CEO’s, and entire nations. You will almost never hear any substantive analysis by the media, which is controlled by these groups nor of attempts at holding them accountable by governments around the world.
Another way that our planet is being “united” is through the use of international trade agreements. The ultimate goal is for the entire world to become a “single market” with uniform laws, rules and regulations. But as we merge our economy with the rest of the globe, the United States has been losing tens of thousands of businesses and millions of jobs as the monolithic corporations that now dominate our economy shift production to areas where labor is much cheaper. This is absolutely destroying the middle class, but very few people seem to care. Negotiations for one of the biggest international trade treaties that the world has ever seen recently concluded. The Trans-Pacific Partnership, also known as “Obamatrade”, would represent a giant step toward a truly unified global economy. The following is an excerpt from one of my previous articles…
We have just witnessed one of the most significant steps toward a one world economic system that we have ever seen. Negotiations for the Trans-Pacific Partnership have been completed, and if approved it will create the largest trading bloc on the planet. But this is not just a trade agreement. In this treaty, Barack Obama has thrown in all sorts of things that he never would have been able to get through Congress otherwise. And once this treaty is approved, it will be exceedingly difficult to ever make changes to it. So essentially what is happening is that the Obama agenda is being permanently locked in for 40 percent of the global economy. The United States, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Australia, Brunei, Chile, Malaysia, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam all intend to sign on to this insidious plan. Collectively, these nations have a total population of about 800 million people and a combined GDP of approximately 28 trillion dollars.
And do you want to know who pushed really hard to give Obama fast track negotiating authority so that these negotiations could be brought to a successful conclusion? It was the traitorous Republican leadership in Congress. They did everything that they could to pave the way for Obamatrade. We are also seeing some stunning moves in the direction of a one world religion. In recent years, you may have noticed that it has become very trendy to say that all religions are just different paths to the same God. In fact, many prominent religious leaders are now openly proclaiming that the two biggest faiths on the entire planet, Christianity and Islam, worship the exact same deity. For example, just consider what the Pope is saying publicly on this matter. The following is an extended excerpt from one of my recent articles on End of the American Dream… ***** What Pope Francis had to say at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Manhattan has received very little coverage by the mainstream media, but it was exceedingly significant. The following is how he began his address…
I would like to express two sentiments for my Muslim brothers and sisters: Firstly, my greetings as they celebrate the feast of sacrifice. I would have wished my greeting to be warmer. My sentiments of closeness, my sentiments of closeness in the face of tragedy. The tragedy that they suffered in Mecca. In this moment, I give assurances of my prayers. I unite myself with you all. A prayer to almighty god, all merciful.
He did not choose those words by accident. In Islam, Allah is known as “the all-merciful one”. If you doubt this, just do a Google search. And this is not the first time Pope Francis has used such language. For instance, the following comes from remarks that he made during his very first ecumenical meeting as Pope…
I then greet and cordially thank you all, dear friends belonging to other religious traditions; first of all the Muslims, who worship the one God, living and merciful, and call upon Him in prayer, and all of you. I really appreciate your presence: in it I see a tangible sign of the will to grow in mutual esteem and cooperation for the common good of humanity. The Catholic Church is aware of the importance of promoting friendship and respect between men and women of different religious traditions – I wish to repeat this: promoting friendship and respect between men and women of different religious traditions – it also attests the valuable work that the Pontifical Council for interreligious dialogue performs.
Pope Francis clearly believes that Christians and Muslims worship the exact same God. And so that helps to explain why he authorized “Islamic prayers and readings from the Quran” at the Vatican for the first time ever back in 2014. ***** What is happening is undeniable. We are steamrolling toward a one world government, a one world economy and a one world religion. Of course we will not get there overnight. It is going to take some time, and there are going to be quite a few bumps along the way. In fact, I believe that our planet will experience an extreme amount of chaos before we actually get there. But every major crisis will be used as an excuse to advance this agenda. Virtually every solution that the elite offer us will involve more globalization and more centralization. We will be told that all of our problems will be solved if humanity will just come together in unity. For some, the goal of a “united planet” where we are all working together to eradicate things like poverty, war and disease makes all the sense in the world. For others, a one world government, a one world economy and a one world religion would simply mean setting the stage for “one world tyranny”.
The American people accept the persecution of truth-tellers, because they have been brainwashed

John Kiriakou is an American patriot who informed us of the criminal behavior of illegal and immoral US “cloak and dagger” operations that were bringing dishonor to our country.
His reward was to be called a “traitor” by the idiot conservative Republicans and sentenced to prison by the corrupt US government.
Manning revealed US war crimes and after years of illegal pre-trial prison abuse was sentenced to 35 years in prison for keeping the vow to the US Constitution. Some of the idiot conservative Republicans thought the sentence was too light.
Tom Drake was ruined, and he kept his complaints about NSA illegality within the chain of command. Julian Assange is confined by the US and UK governments in violation of international law to the Ecuadoran Embassy in London for doing his job and publishing leaked documents revealing the mendacity, immorality, and illegality of Washingtonn’s policies. Edward Snowden is protected by Russia against Washington’s retribution for revealing that Washington’s illegal and unconstitutional spying is universal and includes the personal communications of all of the leaders of Washington’s own vassal states. The American people accept the persecution of truth-tellers, because they have been brainwashed into believing that patriotism means defense of the government no matter what. As truth is so unfavorable to Washington, Americans believe that it must not be revealed, and if revealed, covered up, and those who reveal truth must be punished. A country with such a population as this is a police state, not a free country. It is an irony of history that a government and a population that believes truth must be covered up at all cost parades around the world acting as if Washington is the history’s agent for “bringing freedom and democracy to the world.” Here is John Kiriakou: http://otherwords.org/the-sad-fate-of-americas-whistleblowers/Paul Craig Roberts was Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Economic Policy and associate editor of the Wall Street Journal. He was columnist for Business Week, Scripps Howard News Service, and Creators Syndicate. He has had many university appointments. His internet columns have attracted a worldwide following. His latest book, The Failure of Laissez Faire Capitalism and Economic Dissolution of the West is now available.
